Got a delicious double espresso here and took espresso beans for home. The advice was very good.

Good breakfast offer, tasty and unusual hot drinks (turmeric latte, matcha chai), special requests are gladly taken into account, friendly young team, vegan pastries. Nice sun spots outside. You should definitely make a reservation at peak times

Never again. Ordered 2 cappuccinos and waited more than 30 minutes for 2 croissants. The same skill for 1 pretzel and 1 lemon cake.

Very good iced coffee. Espresso hot and aromatic, with a hazelnut brown, firm crema. A bit too sour for my taste. The other guests were also very satisfied. Service very friendly and competent.

Unfortunately we were overlooked during the shift change, but then: served quickly, friendly and with great understanding for our displeasure by a young man who was visibly uncomfortable with our "start". Coffee and 🍰 very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Nice café with friendly service. Too bad that you have to choose butter and cream cheese at breakfast, that should be both. Well ... the things are very tasty anyway. The coffee is roasted on its own. The vegan chocolate cake I've tried is a hit. The croissant baked with goat cheese is also highly recommended.

Coffee is good and service friendly but unfortunately 20 minutes is too long for me to wait for a normal cappucino (the cafeteria wasn't very crowded either).

I came to breakfast. There is a sense of fashion and cleanliness. Reliable to eat because it is a bio material! And delicious! Coffee is particularly sticky and delicious. And there seems to be a barista classroom. There is a smile, Wifi and a beautiful restroom of the shop

Great coffee and atmosphere

I stumbled upon this place on google so I wanted to try it. I am a frequent coffee shop goer and wanted a nice place to sit and eat and have good coffee. I am studying abroad in Freiburg and also needed a good homework spot and so far, this one takes the cake. The mini brunch was amazingly delicious as well as the black coffee. The staff was also amazing and spoke clear English. I was checked on by 2 different servers which is a rare find in the states. If I ever make it back to Freiburg, this place will be my first visit for good brunch, coffee, and a place to chill.

A really, REALLY great café. I'm originally from the US and have lived in Germany for almost two years, and it seems like this café has a fantastic way of catering to the local community, to students, and to families. The space is well organized and designed, their roastery concept is flawless, the coffee is some of the best that I've had while in Germany. Everyone who works in the establishment is friendly, all of the products are fairly priced (and many are fairly traded!), it's an overall fantastic experience. Even if you're only in Freiburg for a few days, making a stop here is completely necessary.

Amazing cooooffeee, sadly they hadn't oatmilk (but sojamilk, wich I don't like very much). But the coffe, the service and the porridge was really good.

You can have Darjeeling Tea (from India)....Really Good. And they speak English...so don't worry...

Clean place and delicious food with friendly staff.

Since "5 Senses Coffee" roasted itself and now has a very good reputation in Freiburg, my expectations were of course high. Nevertheless, I evaluate objectively and fairly! Subjectively, the rating would mean one star less. The café is very comfortably furnished and has its own signature. There are of course different coffee specialties and also a small balanced menu. I had an espresso and a cappuccino, which unfortunately tasted a bit meaningless and didn't knock my socks off. Good standard, but unfortunately not anymore either. The service was unremarkable but not necessarily friendly. Actually similar to coffee. Somehow just standard! All in all it was a nice visit, but in my opinion it is not enough for five stars. I would still recommend stopping by.

Sloooow table service. Cafe not even full but it took 10 minutes to even take the order and another 10 minutes for one coffee to arrive. However... Friendly staff, well prepared organic coffee, nice selection of quality cakes and snacks. Kids' table with toys and beautiful solid wood furniture. Oh...and two parking spots outside. 👍

The Iced Chai Tea Latte is truly delicious!!!
